About Kaizen Diagnostic Centre, Kalwa Naka

Kaizen Diagnostic Centre has served Kalwa, Thane since 2022. Blood tests, sonography, digital X-ray, 2D echo, ECG, EEG, EMG, audiometry, PFT and ultrasound-guided tapping are all done at our own centre, with our own consultant radiologists, cardiologists and pathologist on site. One visit, one place, one set of reports.

Why we are called Kaizen

Kaizen is a Japanese word meaning continuous improvement — small, steady changes rather than one grand gesture. It is an unusual name for a diagnostic centre, and we chose it deliberately. Medicine does not stand still, and neither should the place you trust with your reports.

In practice that means we keep adding what our patients keep being sent elsewhere for. We started with pathology and sonography. We added digital X-ray, then cardiac testing, then EEG, EMG, audiometry and lung function testing — each one because patients in Kalwa were travelling to Thane or Mumbai for it. The aim has always been simple: a family should not have to visit three places to complete one doctor’s prescription.

Radiology

Our radiologists do more than report scans. They also carry out ultrasound-guided ascitic and pleural tapping at the centre as a day-care procedure, so a patient sent to us for one is seen by a specialist, not referred onward.

What you can expect from us

• Everything at our own centre. Your samples are processed and your scans are done here, not sent out and waited on. That is why we can give you a straight answer about when your report will be ready.
• A specialist reports every scan. Sonography and Doppler are reported by our consultant radiologists. Echo and ECG go to our cardiologists. Blood work is validated by our pathologist.
• We tell you the price before you come. Message us the test name or a photo of your prescription on WhatsApp and we will tell you what it costs and what preparation is needed.
• We explain the report. You are welcome to ask what a number means. Our staff will explain it in plain language, in Marathi, Hindi or English.
• Gentle with children and elderly patients. Our phlebotomists are trained for the patients who find blood collection hardest, and we do not rush them.
